Response to Intervention

Response to Intervention is a method of academic intervention designed to provide support to children who are having difficulty learning. By using RTI, our schools will identify students at-risk for poor learning outcomes, monitor their progress, provide specific intervention and adjust the intensity of those interventions based on student response data.

RTI seeks to prevent academic failure by using early intervention, frequent progress measurement, and increasingly intensive research-based instructional interventions for children who continue to have difficulty.
