Boards & Councils
The Zumbro Education District Governing Board is similar in nature to a school board. The Board is responsible for many things including establishing annual budgets, adopting district and personnel policies, establishing educational programs and services, and providing a system of communication with the school boards of each member district. The Governing Board is comprised of seven members; one from each of the member school districts. Board meetings are held monthly, generally on the third Thursday of the month, at the Zumbro Education District’s main office in Byron, MN.
