Futures/CHOICE/Circle Programs

Services Provided Include:

The Futures/CHOICE/Circle programs provide special education services for children identified with an emotional or behavioral disorder (EB/D). It also serves students with milder autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Students from ZED member districts who need special education services at a separate site receive individualized instruction through an Individual Educational Plan (IEP). Instructional areas include social learning, communication skills and academics.

Students enrolled in the Futures/CHOICE/Circle programs may also receive related services including school counseling, speech and language, and/or occupational therapy. Transition planning is available that aids students in returning to their general education setting or continuing on from graduation to post-secondary options. Collaboration with community social service and mental health agencies is integrated into the student IEPs.
