Home Page -->> Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Services Provided Include: Help students from birth through 21 years of age to develop the motor skills for the activities of daily living such as feeding, dressing and fine motor activities. These skills are pre-requisites for academic learning and later vocational training. Provide special equipment and adaptations, such as computer, feeding and handwriting modifications for the students who need assistance in the school setting. Physical Therapy Services Provided Include: Work with families to help their children from birth to three learn motor activities such as sitting, standing and walking. Evaluate equipment needs that a student may have in order to function more efficiently in school such as special chairs, standers, and walkers. Work in school classrooms to help the student develop motor skills to better interact with their educational environment. Help schools meet the accessibility needs of students.
