Science Fair

The Twentieth Annual ZED Science Fair for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders was held on Friday, March 16, 2012, at Kasson-Mantorville Middle School in Kasson.  The students were each judged by a team of three judges.  When students weren't being judged they were attending one of two programs presented by Oxbow Zoo, Reptiles and Amphibians and Maple Syruping.  224 students from Byron, Hayfield, Kasson-Mantorville, Pine Island, Stewartville and Triton participated in the ZED Science Fair.  All of the students received either a blue, red, or white participation ribbon.  A special thank-you Aimee Johnson and Stacey Terry, the K-M Gifted and Talented Contacts, and to the other K-M staff that helped to make this science fair a fun day for the students.
