Rental Information

The Zumbro Education District (ZED) offers its building facilities for rental to organizations and individuals for educational, community, and approved private events. All rental or leasing agreements are subject to the district’s policies and procedures, which are designed to ensure that facility use aligns with the district’s mission and does not interfere with scheduled educational programs.

Key points regarding the rental or leasing of ZED facilities include:

  • Eligibility: Facilities may be rented by community groups, non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, and, in some cases, private entities, subject to approval.

  • Application Process: Interested parties must submit a facility use application and receive written approval before the event or activity can be scheduled.

  • Fees: Rental fees vary depending on the type of facility, duration of use, and the nature of the event. Additional charges may apply for custodial services, equipment use, or security.

  • Insurance: Lessees are typically required to provide proof of liability insurance naming Zumbro Education District as an additional insured party.

  • Restrictions: Facility use is subject to district rules, including prohibitions on tobacco, alcohol, and illegal substances on district property. Activities must not disrupt regular school operations or compromise safety.

  • Priority: ZED-sponsored programs and activities have first priority for facility use. Other requests are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more information or to request a facility rental, email the Zumbro Education District office directly at facilities@zumbroed.org.
