The ZED Consortium for the Perkins grant is now run through Southeast Service Cooperative in Rochester. Jami Schwickerath will be the Secondary Perkins Consortia Coordinator for ZED.

Services Provided Include:

•  Implementing applied academic curricula that teach for understanding. The applied curriculum is based on the concept that education is enhanced when students apply what they learn to real life situations.

•  Coordinating and purchasing career development and planning materials.

•  Establishing work-based learning opportunities that involve students in actual work experiences that connect classroom learning to careers. Opportunities available include: job shadowing, workplace mentoring, internships, and youth apprenticeships.
