The Science Fair is open to all students in grades 4 through 6. Projects must meet the ZED Guidelines and be individual projects to qualify for the ZED Science Fair. It is rotated among the ZED schools each spring.
The 27th Annual ZED Science Fair was held at Hayfield Schools on Friday, April 5, 2019 with 155 students participating. When students were not having their projects judged, they were attending two Quarry Hill presentations-Animals in Winter and Creepy Crawlies. There were 26 volunteer judges and 10 student judges that worked in groups of three to evaluate the science fair projects. It was a fun-filled afternoon for both students and volunteers.
