ZED Summer Academy is a one-week half-day summer opportunity for gifted and talented students who have completed grades 3-6. Students must be recommended by staff from their local districts in order to attend.
The Sixteenth Annual ZED Summer Academy will be held June 15-19, 2020 at Triton High School. Booklets will be sent home with eligible students in March. Eligible students must be completing grades 3-6 this year and have either been identified by their school for high potential programs or been recommended by a teacher, principal, counselor or G/T contact as one who could benefit from a program for high potential students.
ZED will be offering a limited number of partial scholarships to cover 50% of the registration fee. The link to this form is below. This form completed in its entirety, along with 1/2 of the registration fee ($60), must accompany the completed Registration Form for registration to be complete. Each teacher will have a student helper to assist with their class. Student Helpers must have completed 8th grade (or higher) by June 2020 in order to be considered for an assignment. Student Helpers will be paid $100 for the week. If interested in applying, please click on the 'Student Helper Application' link below, complete the form, and return it to ZED by May 4, 2020.
